East Texas Baptist University’s legacy, beginning with the establishment of the College of 马歇尔 in 1912, remains committed to Christ by helping 学生 discover who God has called them to be. The core commitments of ETBU are for 学生 to know who they are in Christ – to be rooted by embracing their faith, enriched by engaging their minds, empowered by strengthening their leadership, fulfilled by enhancing their community, and to be themselves, knowing they were created to display God’s glory. Beginning with recruitment, each and every 学生 is surrounded with support from faculty and staff alike. From submitting an application to receiving a diploma, 学生 are empowered and equipped to pursue the path the Lord has designed for their life.
