The Lance 芬顿珍本圣经集 has been entrusted to the University Archives on permanent loan by Mr. 来自德克萨斯州泰勒的兰斯·芬顿. Mr. Fenton is a private collector who has acquired these rare Bibles, 工件, and other antique books over the past several years.

兰斯芬顿, among other generous anonymous donors, provided funding for the Fenton Honors Hall within the Jarrett图书馆 on campus. 于2018年8月完工, the room features the 芬顿集合 Exhibit and Yeshua, a sculpture of 耶稣基督 by Max Greiner, Jr. 来自德克萨斯州科尔维尔市.

The 芬顿集合 Exhibit showcases a collection of rare Bibles and special display pieces. Included in this collection is a leaf from the 古腾堡圣经 (1455), a 廷代尔新约 (1566), 科弗代尔圣经 (1535), 伟大的圣经 (1539), 日内瓦圣经 (1608), 主教的圣经 (1568)， 1611版 钦定本圣经1762年修订 钦定本圣经.
用拉丁文印刷，the 古腾堡圣经 叶子来自第22章. Published on the Gutenberg printing press circa 1455, the leaf is one of less than 50 copies of the Bible known to exist today.

- The 芬顿集合 is housed within Fenton Hall in the Mamye Jarrett图书馆 on the campus of 东德克萨斯浸会大学. 图书馆是 open to the public Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 周五早上8点开始.m. - 5:00 p.m. A portion of the collection is available for viewing on rotating display during the 图书馆开放时间. 图书馆是 closed on University Holidays.
